Paheer Thayalan

Paheer Thayalan is a Compliance Officer, responsible for the oversight of the Wealth Management Compliance program which includes several affiliates of Guardian Capital Group Limited, including Guardian Partners Inc., Guardian Capital Advisors LP (GCA), and Modern Advisor Canada Inc. Paheer joined Guardian in 2017 where he was part of the GCA Investment Operations team. In 2020, he transitioned to Compliance as an Analyst to assist the Institutional Asset Management division. Since then, he joined the Wealth Management Compliance team and progressed into a more senior role.

Paheer graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Finance from the Toronto Metropolitan University. He has completed the Canadian Securities Course and he currently holds the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist designation (CAMS).
