Steven Rowles

Steven Rowles is a Client Portfolio Manager for Guardian Capital Advisors LP (GCA), where he brings a well-rounded array of financial services experience since 1995 to his work developing and implementing investment portfolios and policies for individuals and families in Western Canada. Steven began his career in private wealth at Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management as a private client advisor. Directly before joining GCA in 2017, Steven spent 12 years in Asia. In Hong Kong, he was the global market strategist conducting macroeconomic and foreign exchange research in the fixed-income space for CFC Seymour. In Singapore, he headed up marketing and product for a boutique firm, Firth Investment Management. Steven graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BA in History (minoring in Economics). He is a CFA^® charterholder.

Steven is an active member of the firm and his community. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Mount Royal University Foundation. Steven is also an advocate for mental health and suicide prevention awareness and founded the Mindful Men Association in 2024.
